About The Smoothie Lab

Most smoothie bar websites are a photo grid and a price list. The Smoothie Lab lets visitors watch their drink being made. Strawberries, mango and banana tumble into a glass blender jar. Scroll and the blades start, the fruit swirls into a smooth blend, and the jar tilts to pour a thick, bright smoothie into a glass.

The look is realistic rather than cartoon: glossy fruit with seeds, skins and juicy flesh, a brushed stainless-steel blender with a clear glass jar, ice on the counter, cold glasses beaded with condensation, and studio lighting with real reflections and shadows. Every flavour gets its own colour, garnish and straw.

It’s built to sell drinks, not only to look good. Visitors pick a flavour, build their own smoothie with a live price, choose a size and extras, check ingredients, put together a combo with a snack, and add everything to an order list that sends them to your online ordering page.

You don’t need a developer. Open the included editor in your browser, type your shop’s name, colours, flavours, fruits, prices and hours, and watch your website update as you go. Download one file and put it online for free.

Designed by The Food Aisle for smoothie bars, juice bars, cafés and health food spots, and for the designers who build their websites.

Who it’s for

  • Smoothie bars, juice bars, cafés, gyms with a smoothie counter and health food shops
  • Designers and freelancers building food business websites (one licence per client website)

Requirements

A modern web browser and an internet connection. Free hosting on Netlify, Vercel or any web host. An online ordering link (Square, Toast, Uber Eats or similar) if you want visitors to order online.

Good to know

  • The website doesn’t take payments. Its checkout button sends visitors to the ordering link you add. Without a link, the order list asks visitors to order in store or call.
  • The 3D fruit and drinks are detailed computer-generated models, not photos of your own drinks.
  • Sample shop name, prices and flavours are placeholders for you to replace. You add your own ingredient, allergen and nutrition information; until you do, smoothies show “Ask our team for allergen information” and no nutrition line.

FAQ

Do I need to know how to code?

No. Everything is edited in the included editor, with a live preview.

Can customers order online?

Yes, through your existing ordering provider. Add its link and the checkout button goes there.

Can I add my own flavours?

Yes. Give each one a name, colour, price and garnish, and pick the fruits that go into the 3D blender.

Can I change the fruits and prices in Build your own?

Yes. Choose which fruits, bases and extras appear, their prices, how many fruits are included and the most a visitor can pick.

How do I put it online?

Drag your finished file onto Netlify Drop (free). The guide walks you through it.

Can I use it for more than one shop?

Each licence covers one website. Buy one licence for each shop or client site.

Do I need to register or create an account with The Food Aisle?

No. After you pay, your download appears straight away on the thank-you page and the link is also emailed to you. Everything else happens on your own computer.

How do I save my work while editing?

The editor saves your changes automatically in your browser, so you can close it and come back later. When you’re finished, press Download my website (at the top, or at the end of the form) to get your website as one file, index.html.

Can I use my own domain name, like mysmoothiebar.com?

Yes. Put your site online free with Netlify first and create a free Netlify account so it stays online. Then, in Netlify, open your site, choose Domain management and add a domain you own, or buy one there. Domains come from a domain company and have a yearly fee, separate from this template. Netlify adds a free secure (https) certificate.

Refunds?

Because this is a digital download, sales are final once downloaded, unless the file is faulty and we can’t fix it.
