Sauteed Spinach With Garlic

Use fresh spinach. The frozen stuff just doesn't taste as good, and never really loses its sogginess.

TOOLS

  • Frying pan or skillet

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 TB Olive oil
  • 2 Cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 Bunch *fresh* spinach ... don't do frozen!

 DIRECTIONS

  1. Wash the spinach thoroughly, fully drain and pat dry.
  2. Heat the oil in the pan over medium heat. Add the garlic and saute for a minute or two to cook through, stirring quickly so it doesn't burn.
  3. Add the spinach and toss with garlic. You may need to add it in two or more batches, waiting until the first helping of spinach cooks down before adding more. When ready, the spinach will be fully cooked down.
